One of the best things about living in British Columbia is the beautiful nature and the wildlife. The Lower Mainland is home (be it permanent or temporary) to over 370 species of birds.
I've always been fascinated by the uniqueness of a bird's anatomy - the streamlined body, the feathers, the muscles and the hollow bones are all specially designed for aiding flight. That is why it is always interesting to watch different species of birds.
The Birds Collection features some of the birds that can be spotted all over the Lower Mainland. Some of them includes bald eagles, owls, hawks and crows.
